Sr. Manager, Risk, Workers Compensation Domestic Claims

Amazon's Global Risk Management Claims team is seeking a talented Worker's Compensation (WC) Manager to support our growing worker's compensation program.
Key job responsibilitieso Oversee non-litigated and litigated claims.
o Develop strategy and action plans for claims in tandem with external counsel, TPA's, and insurance companies.
o Field and address business partners on-going questions and issues through claims resolution as needed.
o Partner with other internal partners to innovate processes and strategies to create efficiencies.
A day in the lifeYou will report to a Senior Risk Manager and be enthusiastic about driving change.
You will lead strategy on WC claims, handling litigated and non-litigated claims in conjunction with Third Party Administrators (TPA's), outside counsel, and insurance companies.
You will help develop programs and tools that contain costs.
You will partner with external vendors on innovative claims handling initiatives that support simplicity while enhancing the customer experience.
You will serve as the subject matter expert to dive deep on claim processes, challenge the status quo, and develop impactful solutions.
You will support internal audits to ensure quality and compliance are in accordance with client service instructions and performance expectations.
You have the ability to lead a group of talented people to achieve strategic goals.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
