Director, Audience Development & Analytics at YourTango in New York, NY

We are looking for a self-starter with a strong analytical and marketing background, including SEO and social media expertise as well as a proven track record growing successful online newsletters. This is a fulltime work-from-home position offering various benefits, including 401K, and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
Creating and monitoring dashboards that showcase key commercial insights Analyzing data that leads to actionable insights you communicate to management and key stakeholders and that you ultimately leverage to increase traffic, engagement, repeat/direct visitors, and our social media presence Partner with the key stake holders in our dev/product/business insights team as well as our editorial team to improve our content strategy, achieve audience development goals and improve on our UX Growing YourTango's newsletter base and other direct sources, such as push notifications Analyzing all current sources of traffic and recommending ways to improve their performance Recommending and overseeing partnerships that help achieve our various marketing objectives Recommending and overseeing strategies to help significantly increase YourTango's presence in social media, including increasing followers, engagement, and traffic from social sources back to the site Conducting SEO audits, specs, requirements for product, engineering, and editorial teams and guiding projects through conclusion QA on all SEO changes both in the pre-production environment and on the live production sites as well as ad hoc SEO troubleshooting and problem solving Identify new opportunities to improve SEO, suggesting new areas for content creation, and generally informing the broader SEO strategies, including around key word research, tools, optimization techniques and more. Training internal stakeholders and editorial teams on SEO best practices Requirements:

years proven track record in growing the organic search audience and leading audience development initiatives for one or more significant publishing brands Strong background in analytics, marketing, social media, identifying actionable insights and spearheading initiatives that led to growth for significant digital publishers and/or consumer brands Ability to communicate, demonstrate, and articulate on SEO, analytics, and key marketing philosophies and best practices Advanced technical SEO and analytics skills Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Editorial & Content Management, Media Production & BroadcastingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
