Summary:
We are seeking an Analyst and/or Manager to join the Corporate FP&A team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a track record demonstrating strong financial acumen, comfort working with leaders, the ability to influence positive change, and building a brand as collaborator across the organization. Additionally, the Manager of Corporate FP&A will be a partner with business segment finance, corporate finance/accounting, and treasury and investor relations functions
Responsibilities:
Coordinate closely with all components of the finance organization to set deadlines, design templates, and maintain integrity of reporting requirements for the broader finance organization's deliverables including the monthly close, quarterly forecast, operating plan, and strategic plan Able to work under deadlines with accuracy and efficiency Manage ongoing and ad hoc reporting of historical and forecast information, including financial results, expense analyses, productivity metrics, industry trends, capital expenditures and other key operating metrics Prepare financial reports, reporting packages, presentations and outlooks for senior management and Board of Directors Comfortable using finance technology (primarily TM1) to maintain efficient reporting environment and to evaluate existing reporting and data management routines and make recommendations on simplification and enhancement opportunities Supports leadership by performing ad-hoc financial analysis and providing independent findings (either data driven or analytical, depending on the requirement)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or other quantitative field 3 to 5
years of financial experience, including leadership roles in financial services or complementary industries Diversified experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and ad hoc related analyses (multinational company experience is a plus) Background within a US public company/GAAP experience needed. Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for interacting with business partners and management. Collaborative individual with a drive to approach management with new and creative ideas on how to improve the business using data driven analysis Strong analytical and problem solving background Strong operational improvement and project management skills Strong work ethic, adaptability and a drive to push tasks/processes to completion while leading others in timely manner Relationship-oriented mindset, looking for win-win solutions to obstacles Strong commitment and drive to accomplish assignments accurately and in timely fashion Able to prioritize the tasks to align management requirements Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are needed Experience with the ORACLE and TM1 financial systems is highly preferred (Similar systems required) #LI-PS1
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
