Job Description BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The remote eligible position will lead strategies to advance JDRF's mission through volunteer activation and leadership
Responsibilities:
Serve as the thought leader for the overall strategy, operational framework, and impact measures for the volunteer engagement function, guided by organizational goals and best practices. Ensure highly impactful volunteer leadership initiatives, including chapter, national and global volunteer leaders advancing organizational priorities set by JDRF staff. Serve as staff leader for Volunteer Impact Initiative and staff partner to volunteer chair of the Global Mission Board Enable strong chapter-based volunteer programs, including Community Boards and Executive Councils, in partnership with field leadership Support global volunteer engagement, through JDRF affiliates and the JDRF Global Project. Play a significant leadership role in organizational-wide initiatives to engage, steward, and train volunteers, such as OneConference and National Volunteer Week. Ensure the development and implementation of organizational-wide programs, tools, structures, and processes for volunteer recruitment, activation, training, management, stewardship, recognition, retention, leadership, and succession planning, in collaboration with staff and volunteers across the organization. Foster clear, strategic communications to volunteer leaders, in conjunction with marketing and communications team Qualifications 15
years of relevant experience Significant ability to plan near term and long term strategies guided by organizational priorities and functional objectives, and to evaluate outcomes. Considerable experience managing volunteer programs and stewarding volunteer leaders. Substantial program development and implementation experience. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to effectively multi-task, establish priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment. Highly efficient in time management and can meet deadlines under pressure. Disciplined, resourceful, self-starter. Team player that has the ability to engage effectively across departments, organizations, and geographies with all levels of staff and volunteer leaders. Able to serve as an extended member of the executive leadership team and provide consultation and advice at the board level. Excellent written, oral, and communication skills. Ability for presentation delivery, conveying ideas, and instructing effectively. Superior active listening, observation, analytical, and problem recognition and solving skills. Ability to work and make judgments independently and take initiative. High capacity to assess the value, importance, and/or quality of activities and people. Analytical skills and proficiency in use of computer systems, databases, and data analytics to track and evaluate impact. Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus. Availability for occasional travel. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Sales Management & OperationsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
