GENERAL FUNCTION The position is responsible for providing financial leadership and business analysis to the LensCrafters brand. The role requires strong, broad, progressive functional capabilities in accounting, financial planning / forecasting and analysis. This role must have a deep understanding of the profitability drivers necessary to achieve financial objectives while providing data driven insights to the business leaders. The position is a key member of the Finance team and must be able to effectively influence and communicate with non-Financial leaders. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership with insights on sales results and trends; estimate future performance based on current results. Responsible for the annual and quarterly sales forecasting; identifies key drivers and predicts future trends based on knowledge of the brand and market conditions. Ability to transform large data sets into succinct insights and easy-to-understand KPI reporting, resulting in key insights; effectively communicate results to leadership and provide recommendations to improve results. Develop business cases for strategic initiatives, including, but not limited to compensation plans, pricing strategy, promotions, contests, marketing; effectively communicate recommendations to influence decision making. Oversees execution of monthly store goals and ensures fairness and consistency in the targets calculated and assigned to each store. Key liaison with the global reporting teams to ensure all reporting is timely and accurate; communicate business reporting needs to the technical teams. Owns all key financial reporting for the brand, ranging from executive level summaries to store facing reporting. Identifies opportunities to streamline reporting. Key financial contact for all field leaders, primarily VP of Operations and Zone Vice Presidents Coach and develop LC Finance team to enhance reporting knowledge and business acumen. Improve financial / business acumen of brand / field teams through dissecting business into easy-to-understand key drivers and actively coaching non-financial leaders. Lead strategic / tactical business initiatives (may or may not be financial) that provide broad-based value for the brand. Participate in the monthly close for brand including providing key insights and financial reporting to brand; provide insights on variances BASIC QUALIFICATIONS S. and C.P.A. and / or M.B.A in Accounting or Finance 12
years' experience in Accounting and Finance Planning & Analysis Successful track record of increasing responsibilities throughout career Demonstrated record of tangible improvements in results / processes during career Strong Interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence others Demonstrated outstanding oral and written communication skills
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
