GENERAL FUNCTION The position is responsible for providing financial leadership and business analysis to the LensCrafters brand. The role requires strong, broad, progressive functional capabilities in accounting, financial planning / forecasting and analysis. This role must have a deep understanding of the profitability drivers necessary to achieve financial objectives while providing data driven insights to the business leaders. The role is a key leader in the team and owns the overall business intelligence with a deep understanding of the business trends. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key leader for the LensCrafters brand for the annual and quarterly sales forecast process. Lead and partner with cross-functional teams on inputs of key drivers into the sales forecast. Provide financial leadership and business analysis on brand initiatives to team members and internal stakeholders Responsible for financial analysis and to gather hindsight's and make recommendations to leadership for go-forward strategy. Transform and manage large data sets into succinct insights and easy-to-understand KPI reporting, resulting in key insights to improve results. Develop relationships with cross-functional teams to become a trusted financial partner; work with the cross-functional teams to provide insights into the results of tests and broad scale initiatives. Improve financial / business acumen of brand / field teams through dissecting business into easy-to-understand key drivers and actively coaching non-financial leaders. Lead strategic / tactical business initiatives (may or may not be financial) that provide broad-based value for the brand. Manage and lead team in the monthly close for brand including providing key insights and financial reporting to brand Establish and streamline strategies, processes, and tools within team to efficiently analyze overall effectiveness. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting S. and C.P.A. and / or M.B.A in Accounting or Finance 10
years relevant experience Retail industry experience Strong analytical skills and ability to provide deep insights that result in improved results Strong organizational skills Strong computer skills including Word, Excel (complex spreadsheets) and Power Point Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously Work ethic - flexibility in hours worked (i.e. may need to arrive early or stay late) Financial and management reporting skills - can develop easy to understand reporting with insightful perspective
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
