Nielsen Global Media provides audience measurement solutions to media and advertiser clients to help capture how people engage with content and ads across devices and platforms. Working cross-functionally, the Communications Manager assists in the development and execution of the business' internal and external communications initiatives for Gracenote Content Solutions. Gracenote is the content services pillar of Nielsen providing entertainment metadata, content IDs and related offerings to the world's leading creators, distributors and platforms. This role reports into the VP, Communications. Responsibilities Direct and execute strategic communications to promote the mission and goals of Gracenote Content Solutions Work alongside and assist VP, Communications and Senior Director of Communications to develop and execute strategic communications plans, initiatives and programs for Gracenote Content Solutions Support the Global Media Communications team to execute on impactful communications for Nielsen stakeholders including associates, clients and/or investors Work cross-functionally to provide coordination and assistance for major communications initiatives from internal communications to external announcements Develop content for internal publications, social media channels, announcements, events and other communications activities Provide administrative and project management support for activities including scheduling and logistics for department meetings, town halls, media interactions and video shoots Own an editorial calendar and secure high level speaking opportunities for key Nielsen Media executives at major conferences and thought leadership events Conduct media monitoring, track coverage and related metrics, maintain and update media lists, oversee competitive analysis, manage awards submissions as well as internal publication access ualifications Bachelor's Degree (English, Journalism, Communications or related field) 5
years of related communications work experience Professional experience and/or internships in fast-paced environments Strong writing skills across a variety of formats with keen attention to detail Effective communication skills with peers and with senior-level stakeholders Excellent organizational skills Strong project management skills You are media savvy and know what narratives resonate with different types of reporters. Be able to work cross functionally and cultivate relationships inside and outside of the Marketing-Communications organization Be creative in how we deliver key messages across different mediums (such as infographics, animations, videos or the written word) Proactive and goal-oriented team player with a can do attitude
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
