GENERAL FUNCTION The Sr. Manager of Internal Doctor Communications develops communications that help support and engage affiliated Doctors across Luxottica optical brands to start, operate and grow their practice(s). MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively lead development and implementation of an integrated strategic communications plans to engage affiliated Doctors Create effective communication strategies and campaigns to inspire, engage and retain existing affiliated doctors Partner cross-functionally with all optical brands to ensure alignment and continuity of messaging across audiences Partner with agencies to support communication programs and content deployment across multiple channels (website, digital, print, video) to connect and engage the doctor communities Drive new approaches to deliver communications in more efficient and effective ways including new channels Lead continual enhancements to and maintenance of Doctor communication website systems Partner with Luxottica Marketing team and agency to deliver materials (news releases, fact sheets, profiles and pitches) to create assets/new stories for the doctor audience Develop and oversee the design of creative concepts and messaging (invitations, scripts, presentations, collateral, etc.) for the Luxottica team at doctor events Play a key role in driving a systematic approach to the development and deployment of strategic content including development and oversight of communications and content calendar BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field 7
years communications/public relations experience in an agency or corporate environment Demonstrated exceptional writing, verbal, and presentation skills and ability to capture and convey a brand identity to diverse audiences, across a range of communications platforms Proven ability to plan, develop and deliver content via integrated channels and programs, including online/intranet, multimedia, graphic design, video, events, etc. Ability to lead projects from concept to completion Communications thought leader who challenges the status quo with strategic rationale Ability to turn complex medical and service-related topics into easy to understand sound bites Strong Microsoft Office skills including proficiency of media monitoring databases and platforms Experience working with email communication systems and website CMS Possess excellent creative and project management skills Ability to assess priorities and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment Collaborative, positive-minded individual; team-oriented approach with ability to effectively manage up, down and across peers Ability to work autonomously and act independently 10% travel required
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PR, Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
