Job summaryThe Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Financial Services team is looking for an insurance industry solutions architect to join our fast-paced team and help drive worldwide AWS adoption in life and non-life insurance.
Working on hard problems and delivering highly secure, easy-to-operate, and well-architected solutions requires a dedicated team.
The insurance solutions architects will demonstrate the art of the possible to our insurance customers and to help them accelerate their cloud journey.
You will be responsible for designing, building and owning enterprise-grade solution accelerators that facilitate business processes in life and non-life insurance, including processes for carriers, reinsurers, brokers and other larger intermediaries.
Your repeatable accelerators will be shared globally via AWS sponsored events, online, and directly with insurance customers and partners.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a solutions architect or developer within an insurance company or with industry-specific solution vendors or system integrators.
They will have demonstrated industry solutions expertise.
They also will have an understanding of various software development methodologies, including cloud devops.
Key job responsibilities Serve as a key member of the Worldwide Insurance team in helping to identify use cases that are important to our insurance customers Research, define, and develop solutions accelerators and other assets that can help speed our insurance customers and partners in their efforts to develop innovative cloud-based solutions Coach field teams on the best use of the assets in their customer and partner initiatives Understand the unique technical requirements of insurance customers, and work closely with internal engineering teams to make best use of their services in the insurance industry assets, and to provide feedback on how to enhance services to better address customer requirements Prepare and present technical reviews on the state of the insurance assets, and business reviews on the use of those assets by customers and partners.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
