Sr. Manager, Marketing Events at Nielsen in New York, NY
RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualize, plan and develop a comprehensive partnership marketing strategy working with senior leadership to address Nielsen goals and growth plans across specific audiences and key industry segments positioning Nielsen as an industry leader Manage, collaborate and work creatively to bring both in-person and virtual event experiences to life Provide programming support and direction to support Nielsen's content strategy- via speaker preparation and comprehensive marketing plans for pre/post-event engagement Manage communications with VIP/C-suite speakers and event attendees Manage respective event production - including but not limited to venue selection, contract negotiation, speaker recruitment, vendor management, branding, and content programming Collaborate with key external partners to ensure events accomplish shared goals of building and accelerating revenue and pipeline goals A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU You're a passionate marketer, focused on building strategic relationships and dynamic event experiences. You have a strong project management background and are able to work both collaboratively and autonomously. QUALIFICATIONS 3-7 years experience in B2B or B2C marketing In-depth, hands-on experience in end to end event planning and management (live and virtual) within the media industry Comfort in working in a fast-changing, adaptive environment Strong writing skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong overall leadership and collaboration capabilities Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships Strong attention to detail is a must- with proven project management skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve tough problems and handle pressure to meet deadlines Available to manage, lead and host events as needed due to the Global/event business Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
