We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is energetic, a team player, and self-driven with strong data engineering skills. This role will be responsible for executing and evolving the Exos data strategy at a global corporate wellness client. This role will help optimize existing data systems and build new ones from the ground up. As a member of an integrated team, the Senior Data Analyst will have the opportunity to play a key role in the automation and optimization of data for a variety of population health and human performance projects. This individual will garner significant experience in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment that requires a bias for action and an enthusiasm for helping people get healthier, perform at their best and achieve more in life. You will guide customers on how to ingest, store, process, analyze and explore/visualize data. You will work on data migrations and transformational projects. You will design data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scaling, and troubleshoot potential platform issues. Additionally, you will work closely with business teams to build and constantly drive excellence in our data solutions.
Job Description:
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES Use best practices in continuous integration and delivery. Help drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve data quality and our ability to use data to make product decisions. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand data requirements necessary for building new data pipelines, and optimize existing data streams, so that analysts can seamlessly connect to data through Looker and/or Google Data Studio, among other tools. Collaborate with other software engineers, ML engineers and stakeholders, taking learning and leadership opportunities that will arise every single day. Collaborate with the analytics team to support their BI tools and initiatives to deliver the reliability, speed, and scalability of a data platform they'll love working with. Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product and infrastructure objectives. Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize the existing data warehouse which will create a single version of the truth and standardize data into coherent formats so that it can be queried by users by leveraging query languages. Create and maintain pertinent datasets aligned to business needs, including gathering client report requirements to execute to highest possible standards. Ensure data structures, reports and any other data-related item meets standards and guidelines outlined by Exos Data Governance. Find trends in data sets and develop algorithms to help make raw data more useful to the enterprise. Identify, design and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Work within multidisciplinary teams to identify client needs, define critical success indicators, identify and maintain data flows that fuel operations, and supply data. Keep abreast of new analysis, visualization, reporting techniques and software to develop a more powerful analytics platform. Be a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex data challenges. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of visualization software, specifically Looker. Knowledgeable about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques. Appreciate agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation. Understand the value of partnership within and across teams. Superior understanding of database query languages (SQL, MySQL, Snowflake) and substantial knowledge in analytical approaches. Expertise with data mining and visualization techniques, ability to apply context to data, and strong ability to communicate the data (verbal and written). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (data science, computer science, software engineering, etc.), with 1-3 years' data analysis experience. Experience in SQL. Experience contributing to client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, working with cross-functional stakeholders. Experience in working with/on data warehouses. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Reflective, independent and eager learner (e.g., learns from mistakes, asks good questions, able to generate creative solutions to problems with minimal guidance). Detail-oriented with an ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere. High levels of integrity, autonomy, self-motivation and ability to work well in a team. Experience in health, fitness, wellness, etc.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
