Job Description Office of the President & Chief Operating Officer seeks an experienced, servant leader as Vice President (VP), Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO). The VP will stand up an Enterprise Program Management Office. The ePMO business function will operate at a strategic level and in collaboration with JDRF's senior leadership. The VP will lead governance pertaining to each project, program, and portfolio and will be focused on creating roadmaps, fully executing them, and delivering measurable business outcomes. We are looking for an executive who can contribute to driving measurable outcomes as they align to the JDRF strategic plan. The VP will stand up a high-performing ePMO that matures over time while it clearly and consistently demonstrates organizational value. As VP, she/he/they will have the gravitas to rapidly establish credibility while delivering an integrated, centralized model providing direct responsiveness across the organization. The VP develops and advocates project excellence acumen throughout the organization via adherence to standardized governance, processes, tools, and portfolio management methodologies. A spirit of collegiality, camaraderie, and collaboration is also of significant importance in this highly visible position created to drive innovative and sustainable results. Specific responsibilities include:
Create and lead a cohesive, high-performing team of project managers and business analysts that partners with stakeholders from initial conception and strategic planning sessions through successful execution and continuous improvement Coach and bring a deep understanding of ePMO-defined governance, processes, tools, methodologies, and resources where structure is needed Build strong relationships with all stakeholders and foster cooperation, coordination and communication across the organization and between the field and national office Effectively track, report and address portfolio and project issues and risks with the right stakeholder engagement Serve as a change agent, supporting both the identification and application of new project management concepts and driving the spread of best practices organization-wide while resolving issues and breaking down barriers along the way Optimize and improves ePMO performance and effectiveness through innovative approaches and continuous process improvement, including developing a common language for project managers, functional leaders, and other stakeholders to enable smooth communication and ensure expectations are fully understood Optimizes capacity and utilization resource planning to execute strategic growth with staff resources that may include external staff (consultants, contractors, and vendors) Drive innovation, use of contemporary analytics and other qualitative problem-solving strategies to analyze opportunities, develop solutions, implement changes, and track results Demonstrate effective ePMO team building ensuring bench strength and expertise that meet the organization's needs while allowing growth opportunities and maximizing retention Qualifications Required education and
Experience:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution PMP or related certification At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in program management, planning, and operations; evidence of delivered roadmaps and outcomes Has served as a key leader responsible for ePMO or PMO daily operations and performance management Expertise in change management, resource management, portfolio management, and team building Ability to manage multiple large scale, strategic projects and effectively triage priorities consistent with an organization's strategy and goals Proven leadership skills, both in direct management and matrix influence capacities A history of servant leadership and as an excellent team player/coach, willing and able to develop these qualities in her/his/their direct reports. Experience:
A master's degree Successful experience standing-up a PMO or ePMO Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to be disciplined, dynamic, and flexible and to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment including meeting ongoing and overlapping deadlines Demonstrated ability to lead a varied team of resources in support of strategy alignment and execution; strong leadership, relationship building, and decision-making skills with an ability to influence progress Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills; ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in the context of scaling and accelerating commercial growth Strong proficiency using project-collaboration software tools Experience sourcing and managing relationships with external consultants, contractors, and vendors Successful experiences working and leading in a diverse, non-profit environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills A particular ease and finesse that results from organizational and emotional intelligence A deep commitment to applying a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to all people, processes, and initiatives Additional Information To protect the health and safety of our employees, all new hires are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by September 7, 2021. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
