Responsibilities:
Establish and enhance corporate and foundation fundraising approaches to optimally leverage the dynamic environment of the NYULH Development Office, develop and refine Corporate and Foundation Relations team strategies and infrastructure, and supervise and manage a team of 3-5 collaborative corporate and foundation gift officers and support staff. Strategically initiate and execute a full spectrum of foundation and corporate engagement activities in collaboration with institutional leadership, faculty, staff, gift officers, and other senior colleagues. Cultivate new relationships, initiate dialogue, and develop funding opportunities with national, regional, and local corporations and foundations with an emphasis on priority clinical, educational, and research initiatives. Steward current foundation donors to enhance existing relationships. Based on established priorities, proactively suggest, advise, and conceptualize solicitation strategies and proposal preparation with Development gift officers, scientists and physicians. Maintain current knowledge of institutional priorities, programs, and events for informed, effective and productive prospect and donor engagement. In partnership with physicians, scientists, administrators, and other gift officers, produce, write, and edit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, and reports in appropriate language for donors. Successfully manage the process of preparing and submitting proposals, letters of intent, budgets, and reports, meeting all donor/prospect deadlines. Work with leadership in the Office of Development, Office of Sponsored Program Administration (SPA), Office of Science and Research (OSR) to enhance the collaboration and leverage resources between offices. Document all development activity related to identification, cultivation, solicitation, and reporting/stewardship using the Trax database. Work closely with the Development and SPA post-award teams to comply with all grant terms and reporting. Provide necessary follow-up and stewardship. Meet both grantee and grantor deadlines after proposals are funded. Conduct corporate and foundation prospect research to identify viable prospects that complement the work of Development Prospect Management colleagues, physicians and staff at the Medical Center. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 15
years of experience in healthcare corporate and foundation fundraising with a proven track record of success managing complex portfolios, soliciting and securing new commitments and building lasting relationships with institutional donors. Minimum of six years supervisory and management experience strong interest in effective collaboration, communication, team building and team management. Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Account Management, Digital Marketing & Social MediaEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
