Help to identify and quantify operational deficiencies that may be adversely impacting physician billing ie IT systems issues, process issues in other areas of the Center (registration, clinical/operational staff on the floor), etc. Assist in finding solutions to these issues May be asked to perform other varied functions. Determines and establishes the explanation to complex calls, issues and questions not covered by specific instructions or common practice Receives, compiles, classifies, reconciles and consolidates data from varied sources Maintains accurate, well-organized, up to date files for retrieval of needed documentation Compiles daily statistical data as requested and reports data monthly to appropriate parties Organizes, prioritizes and expedites own work flow and uses independent judgment Uses standard office equipment, makes copies and collates as needed Uses Personal Computer, may use Microsoft Office, CRT and calculator as needed Assists in training office personnel for front-desk, reception, and billing activities Participates in on-going training/development/monitoring of staff by the office. Attends meetings, prepares minutes and participates on committees as requested Recognizes routine problems and recommends suggestions, ideas and solutions Meets or exceeds internal standards for accuracy and timeliness in charge documentation preparation and submission Meets routinely with billing coordinators to review current tasks and assignments. Assists in establishing priorities, and allocating resources as needed to support operations. Managing Staff:
Evaluate employee performance. Resolves employee issues and addresses procedure and performance related issues. Authorizes attendance, schedules, and sick time changes. Establishes office procedures and communicates responsibilities and expected performance to staff. Trains staff according to specific job responsibilities and expectations. Ensures appropriate cross-training and cross-coverage for all practice administrative activities Plans, coordinates and schedules the interrelated activities of the practice office Resolves all complaints and problems using independent judgment and decision making skills, to ensure patient satisfaction and adherence to faculty practice standards Direct the review and documentation of the charge submission process for all practices. Determine best processes and implement uniformly across practices. Develop training manual to document the process for each practice. With FGP Business Administrators, monitor weekly charge submission volume, weekly charges posted, daily cash, incomplete charges, denials, collection reports, refunds, etc. Develop dashboard to track these indicators and conduct routine meetings with the staff to discuss the results of these indicators and redirect staff efforts as needed. With FGP Business Administrators and staff, attend physician billing meetings. Assist FGP APMs in meeting preparation including review of billing reports and presenting ad hoc analysis. To qualify you must have a 3-5 years of prior work experience in a professional setting and a Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree and supervisory experience preferred. Ability to supervise and manage multiple staff and multi task as required. Ability to collect, analyze and understand data trends. Knowledge of patient care charts, patient histories and file room management. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to write reports containing technical information. Records maintenance skills. Word processing and strong proficiency in Microsoft office. Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops. Sensitivity to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA is required. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
