Job Description The Managing Director Investment Banking TDS has responsibility to develop and maintain a portfolio of trusted advisor relationships at senior levels (CEO, CFO, Board) that leads mandates and repeat business. Requirements o Develops and maintains a portfolio of trusted advisor relationships at senior levels (CEO, CFO, Board) that leads mandates and repeat business o Targets clients and revenue opportunities and strikes appropriate balance between short and long term revenue priorities o Develops client relevant transaction ideas by leveraging successful transaction expertise or generating new ideas o Effectively coordinates business origination teams to win lead-managed mandates o Has primary client coverage responsibility and senior level of product knowledge for a select group of clients in a specific industry or product o Acts as lead on major deals/transactions with key clients, and generates senior level of revenue o Provides leadership/mentorship to group and ensures continuous development of industry knowledge and profile o Maintains awareness of relevant regional activities/issues, e.g. municipal, provincial, economic, political, etc. o Sets overall strategy for industry group o Oversees execution on senior deals, generating senior levels of revenue o Guides and develops more junior colleagues through training, mentorship, guidance and leadership by example, and helps them to understand their role in the firms success o Establishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the Bank o Directs, trains and develops staff to enable them to meet challenges, department objectives and achieve full potential Qualifications o Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics o Series 7, 79 and 63 o 7-10 years related experience o Working knowledge of applicable areas o Ability to provide guidance on all matters and respond to inquiries from business unit staff o Must be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skills o Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities o Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management Hours 40
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Banking, Loans & InsuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
