Solution Architect - Utilities at CGI Group in New York, NY
Position Description:
CGI is seeking a seasoned professional to join our growing team supporting Utility clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This member will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various Utility business and IT initiatives from road map assessment architecture best practice phase implementations, and go live. We are a growing business unit in the Eastern United States Utilities market and are looking to increase the capabilities of our Utilities organization. We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to interact with other CGI utility focused professionals to help re-establish and grow in the US utilities sector, targeting key clients in the US East Business Unit. This role will be performed remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic with an eventual transition to working from the CGI office. This role will support opportunities primarily in New York and New Jersey. Your future duties and
Responsibilities:
The Solution Architectt, Utilities expert will help to develop a practice and pipeline for IP business within a targeted portfolio of accounts and territory, manage Utilities solutions and associated services, establish and maintain senior relationships in key clients, and work with CGI business leaders to help expand broader utilities growth. o Develop understanding of the clients' business, organization and culture o Support complex deals o Influence internal and external CGI stakeholders to prioritize winning sales strategies o Work with product managers and solutions consultants to propose the most likely to win approach o Coach existing business developers and delivery teams as required supporting goals. o Problem solving issues and providing recommend solutions o Identify and prioritize emerging technologies to solve for clients' existing business needs Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

years as Solution Architect or similar role Systems Integration experience and related technologies Ability to work independently and part as of a team Excellent written/oral communications skills Ability to interact with both Business & Technical teams Ability to interact with and present to Senior Management stakeholders from both CGI and clients Nice to Haves Utilities Industry experience Salesforce experience Pega experience AWS experience Data Modeling Reporting/Analytics DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited academic institution. A Master's or other advanced degrees/relevant certifications are preferred. Skills:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
