The Central Data Team is focused on enabling both business units and technology products, constantly striving to create an amazing experience for our customers and internal teams. We're hiring a Data Analyst to join the Central Data Team at WeWork Headquarters in New York. We're looking for a self-starter who is passionate about using data to drive member experience and business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and also business savvy- comfortable working with messy data at scale, understanding the needs of the business, and ensuring that their scope is delivering meaningful results. As a Data Analyst at WeWork, you will collaborate with other analysts, data engineers and data scientists, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive the understanding, growth and success of our product and business.
Responsibilities:
Work with data across business verticals (Technology, Real Estate, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Web and physical/digital product) Devise, conduct and present analyses that answer business questions, support strategic decision making, and provide actionable recommendations Explore source system data, and collaborate with data engineers to define new data models Own end to end project execution, including managing scope and stakeholder expectations, navigating dependencies, and engaging with collaborating teams Proactively identify opportunities for growth, improved user experience, and operating efficiency Build relationships with stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of the WeWork business Build and support data org best practices- improving efficiency and quality of internal data team processes, from stakeholder engagement to model quality tracking Be an ambassador for data at WeWork; promote a data-driven culture Requirements:

years experience in business analytics, management consulting, or comparable analytics positions using large, complex data sets to address business problems Experience scripting in SQL, extracting large datasets Business acumen, looking beyond the what to understand the why and determine the so what Ability to influence stakeholders, work closely with them to define scope and ensure that requests are backed by a pending decision Strong data visualization skills and ability to present insights from analysis Experience with Tableau, Looker or comparable BI platforms Passion for data and its use in driving organizational change Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and positive attitude Ability to adapt to a rapidly growing and scaling work environment - the WeWork business changes frequently BA/BS or M.S degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience Experience with Python, R or other programming language that allows you to do data analysis at scale Experience with Agile/CI/CD development lifecycle Life At WeWork Being a WeWorker is more than just a job. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
