TD Securities is looking for a Director to join the SFCT team, based out of the London or New York office. The Director will lead ESG research initiatives, generate thought leadership content, and provide subject matter expertise on key sustainable finance topics both internally and for our clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team with high visibility at the senior executive level within both TD Securities and TD Bank Group. Requirements Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
o Coordinate with various groups across TD Securities - Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, Syndicate, Research, and Equities - as well as the broader TD Bank Group - Risk, Environment, and Treasury o Conduct ESG research and due diligence in support of TD's thought leadership, content generation, and sustainable finance advisory efforts o Oversee and drive content generation for regular thought leadership publications, such as weekly sustainable finance newsletters, as well as ESG industry conferences and client presentations o Provide subject matter expertise and practical advisory on ESG investing and sustainable finance, including pre-IPOs ESG preparation, sustainable finance framework structuring, and M&A ESG advisory o Develop and deliver internal and client training workshops on key ESG topics such as (but not limited to) regional regulatory trends on climate and sustainability reporting; greenhouse gas accounting and science-based climate targets and transition plans; nature-positive investing; inclusion of just transition, indigenous rights, diversity and inclusion in policy; impact reporting best practices; and responsible investment strategies o Work with bankers and originators to recognize ESG risks by sector, analyze existing initiatives, and identify opportunities for collaboration with clients o Represent TD Securities at industry conferences and in working groups such as International Capital Markets Association, Environmental Finance, Canadian Standards Association, and others Qualifications o Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in relevant area preferred o 8-10
years of professional experience in ESG-related research, sustainability, sustainable finance, or related field o Demonstrated expertise in sustainable finance concepts o Previous experience in ESG heavily preferred o Strong quantitative/analytical skills o Clear strength in written and oral communications o Demonstrated ability to work well in a remote team environment o Strong work ethic and positive attitude o Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required o Candidates who do not have CISI UK Financial Regulations certificate or Series 7, 63 and 79 licences (or equivalent) will be required to obtain them Hours
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
