About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Specialty Software Engineering Manager to be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting complex workflows and trade capture for Structured Notes and CDs, Soft Dollar Commissions, and transaction cost reporting platforms. In the role as a Manager, the candidate will be leading development teams in USA and off-shore, and directly interface with the Front Office. In this role, you will:
Lead, Design, develop, implement, test, support and maintain software solutions to meet business requirements for structured instruments, soft dollar commission, and execution business. Work with Business to Capture requirements and suggest practical and strategic solutions for Business needs. Work closely with business and technology leaders to recommend and influence the adoption of standards, best practices, and consistent/repeatable solutions. Troubleshoot issues and work with team members effectively to resolve issues despite obstacles and challenges. Conduct code reviews with team members to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Collaborate with stakeholders and upstream/downstream application teams/owners to implement complex technology solutions. Demonstrate outstanding teamwork, attention to detail and flexibility. Lead a team of developers in USA and off-shore. Lead Agile adoption, CI/CD engineering, SDCL process and Automation Lead the Cloud migration strategy Required Qualifications, US:
4
years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:
work experience, training, military experience, education 2
years of Leadership experience 4
year of experience in Web application development using C#, .Net Framework, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core and Angular 4
Experience in Capital Markets with practical knowledge on Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, and Structured Products including Swaps, Structured Notes and CDs, Convertible Bonds, Cash Equities order flow, transaction costs (exchange fees, broker fees etc.) 4
years of experience in JS frameworks like Angular, React, Node along with Java Script, HTML5/CSS 4
Experience of building solutions using REST API and ASP.Net Web API. 4
years of experience in PL/SQL and one or more Relational Databases like SQL Server, Oracle. 4
years of experience with ADA compliance for external facing web applications 4
years of experience with SmartCommDX (Thunderhead) or similar document templating system
Qualifications:
Experience in TPL, Rx, Multithreading & Concurrent programming with strong Computer Science fundamentals, Data Structures and OOPS concepts. Experience with FIX protocol and FIX engines (preferably QuickFix) Experience with managing internal and external public facing web applications Experience with developing web application framework Experience with building Micro Services based application and Cloud Migration Good understanding and hands on experience in Design patterns and principles like SOLID, MVC, Redux and Flux. Experience of working with messaging systems like MSMQ, Solace, Kafka and understanding of network, distributed systems. Experience with leading on-shore and off-shore development teams across multiple applications Experience in Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, JIRA. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Good analytical skills including analyzing complex data Experience of partnering with global teams and stakeholders Experience of Unit and Automation Testing of UI applications.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
