Director of Operations, Population Health and Clinical Support Services

Overview Partners with CMO, Population Health and Education leadership to oversee, facilitate and support operations improvement initiatives, workflow compliance, and special projects. Develops tracking tools to meet operational, financial, and clinical integrity goals. Develops and tracks metrics to ensure quality, and compliance. Works under general direction. Responsibilities Collaborates with leadership on developing and monitoring short and long term strategic objectives, targets, and goals for the CMO, Population Health, and Education. Coordinates the development and production of reports and metrics to track status of strategies. Keeps leadership abreast of status and makes recommendations for changes/improvements as appropriate. Acts as a liaison to and maintains relationships with VNSNY departments as it relates to the efficiency of the programs. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with VNSNY leadership. Assesses current operations processes and identifies areas of potential improvement; prepares and presents recommendations for improvement. Monitors results against performance targets and meets with senior leadership to review findings and provide recommendations for improvement. Works with senior leadership and their project teams to develop corrective action and plans for implementation, if necessary. Serves on work groups as assigned to design, implement and troubleshoot new systems. Prepares and delivers presentations to management and senior leadership as it relates to the business. Ensures compliance with set metrics for all workflows, including patient/member assignment, regulatory, and financial. Utilizes dashboards and analyzing tools to identify areas of improvement and works with leadership to develop action plans. Designs, tests, validates and/or refines workflows to ensure consistent and efficient operations. Ensures that all new and revised business procedures are implemented on schedule. Performs internal audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and takes corrective action, as necessary, to address deficiencies. Collaborates with IT in the implementation of new/revised systems designed to improve operational efficiency. Collaborates with IT, BIA and business operations to progress program innovations, projects and technologies forward. Monitors variances/discrepancies to metrics and provides insight to management as needed. Oversees the scoping of projects, developing project plans, and on-going forward momentum of projects toward stated goals. Reviews project statuses and communicates issues and/or concerns to senior leadership. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years progressive management experience required. Experience in a health care organization preferred. Strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate and interact cooperatively with senior executives and their staff, required. Team leadership, project management, and facilitation skills required. Knowledge of health care industry and managed care markets preferred. Effective oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills required.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
