Summary:
The Investment Team provides centralized insight for the Advisors and Firm on all aspects of asset allocation, portfolio construction, manager selection and due diligence, trading and capital markets assumptions, among other areas. The Chief Investment Officer is hiring for a dynamic Assistant Vice President. Intellectual energy and rigor are have to haves for this role. As a key member of a small but critical team, the role will provide immediate exposure to external investment managers and internal investment expertise, to senior management supporting our Key Results, and to Advisors and their clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Team. Analyze existing and prospective managers and strategies both quantitatively and qualitatively, form a view. Participate in manager meetings and Investment Committee meetings. Serve as a resource to Advisors for anything investment related. Support Wealthspire's Outsourced Chief Investment Officer offering with third party RIAs. Work with other functional areas (Operations, Technology, etc) supporting client retention or growth. Initiate and pursue ideas furthering our Key Results, increased efficiency, and improved client experience. Support the one-off projects and research ideas of senior Investment Team members. Be intellectually dynamic and want to learn.
Qualifications:
4-6 years relevant experience working in a wealth management capacity, preferably at an RIA, is required. Completed or pursuing CAIA, CIMA, or CFA preferred. Bachelors' degree or higher; major in finance, economics, engineering, math, data analytics or a quantitative discipline preferred. Continuously exhibits personal integrity and professional initiative. Reliable, follows through on commitments, self-starter when it comes to new challenges. Desire to be a sought-out senior Investment talent in time Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize tasks. Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy by delivering high quality work. Collaborative and able to work effectively with others. Flexible team player who is highly adaptable to change and open to new ideas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with a third-party manager diligence tool (eg, Morningstar, Zephyr, Bloomberg, etc) is a plus. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
