Product Director, Markets Experience We are seeking a product director to help us define and develop a new financial markets experience that integrates coverage and data seamlessly across our brands, including the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, Barren's and more. You will partner with teams across the business to build products that help investors anticipate market shifts, take informed risk, build and protect their wealth, and make a positive impact on the world. This role has a wide purview, from how content is presented to the development of investing tools like watchlists and alerts. Crucially, this role has visibility and ownership across back end and front end systems. You will be responsible for planning, defining and executing against the product roadmap. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver features that improve the site experience, you will build the business and enhance the brand, leading projects from ideation to completion and beyond. You are a creative self-starter, multi-skilled in content strategy, advertising, technology and design; you understand our business goals and demonstrate the leadership and vision to meet the objectives. You pride yourself on delivering features on time and without compromising quality. You are able to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently, while effectively communicating to stakeholders throughout the product development process. Responsibilities include:
Own the short- and long-term roadmaps for financial markets specific roadmaps working collaboratively with global web, iOS and Android engineering, Market Data, UX and design teams. Working cross-functionally across all areas to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements. Making product enhancement and optimization recommendations to increase revenue both from advertising and subscriptions. Partner with newsroom and editorial teams to bolster key tools and enhancements in service of our journalism and storytelling. Performing business analysis to demonstrate ROI and P&L impact of product enhancements. Working with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback regarding new products and enhancements. Working closely with software developers throughout the product lifecycle. Defining and measuring KPIs for success. Requirements:

years of product management experience. Strong understanding of financial instruments and information systems. Market data experience a strong plus. Strong technical knowledge and track record of partnering with news, design, engineering, and business teams. Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media, news and investing. Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of Adobe analytics platform. Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research. Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers. Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience. Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
