Senior Manager, FP&A, Business Planning


Job Description:
The FP&A group is currently seeking a Senior Manager to support our business focusing on financial planning and consolidation. The successful candidate will help develop, communicate and monitor departmental and product budgets and forecasts with a keen eye on achieving the overall financial target. Their analysis will aid the Senior Director of Business Planning to assess the financial impact of the business's decision making at a consolidated Dow Jones segment level. Responsibilities Provide weekly flash and management financial report to News Corp parent company and DJ leadership team. Consolidate and create monthly, quarterly and yearly results and forecasts into management level presentations to articulate financial performance. Assist budget and long range plan process to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency. Develop corporate reporting and identify systems and data improvements. Maintain a good understanding of the revenue and cost drivers and trends, and prepare reports to senior management. Maintain the FP&A group's deadlines in order to deliver key consolidated reporting needs within the finance group and to our parent company. Assist in driving project work from end to end (collection of data, creation of model/analysis of trends, and support identification of key issues and turning this into a management level presentation) to support strategic decisions within the business. Manage and develop a team of analysts. Skills & Experience Relevant Commercial Finance experience 8 years+. CPA or Bachelors degree in finance or accounting preferred. Highly organized and strong process management to deliver highest standards of accuracy and quality of weekly flash, monthly outlook, quarterly close, and annual budget deliverables under tight deadline Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills to identify key business movement and influence business decisions High degree of proficiency in PC/computer skills including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, experience with Dashboards and / or BI a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills SAP and TM1 financial systems experience preferred. Demonstrates problem solving capacities, self-motivated, and a team player.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
