Principal Product Manager, Strategy & Research
Job Description:
Principal Product Manager, Strategy & Research Dow Jones seeks a product strategist with strong research and analytical skills to work cross-functionally to define and prioritize business requirements for new products and enhancements. As part of the Dow Jones Experience Team, you'll be responsible for supporting the SVP of Emerging Growth Platforms in developing long-term strategic plans for future product lines. To succeed in our highly matrixed environment, you'll need to collaborate with internal stakeholders and product development teams to build a roadmap, and assess and optimize initiatives for our websites and mobile apps. In this role, you will be expected to:
Identify new opportunities, assess the company's product performance, and help develop long-term strategic plans for future product lines. Effectively identify themes from current and prospective client needs, wants, and desires to inform the product development process. Partner with advertising, business stakeholders, membership and data to monitor and drive OKRs and other key data insights. Gather and analyze data about customers, competitors, and current openings in the market. Partner with the Product & Customer Experience team on research and analysis projects. Participate in and, when needed, lead interactions with current and prospective business partners. Ideal candidates will have these skills and
Qualifications:

years of product strategy experience. Strong analytical skills. Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research. Experience defining and implementing product requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers. Proven ability partnering with a technology organization. Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented. Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media and news. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
