The Valuation Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects relating to valuation services provided by the Valuation Advisory Services Group. As part of this group, the candidate will play a key role in servicing our internal clients as well, providing our assurance team with third party review services. This Valuation Specialist will work closely with partners and staff and plays a key role in client management, practice development and business development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Audit Assist Work closely with the Assurance Team to review and prepare documentation for assurance clients and related fair value measurements prepared for ASC820, 815, 825, 480, 320, 350, 360, 718, 964. Adhere to best practice guidance issued by FASB, SEC, PCAOB, AICPA, Appraisal Foundation relevant to fair value measurements. Communicate best practices to assurance teams and external clients and assist core assurance teams with valuation concepts and guidance. Work independently with little to no support assistance. Appraisal / Advisory Services Plan, execute, direct and complete valuations for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, non-profit, high-tech, real estate, and financial services. Supervise and oversee all aspects of VAS engagements throughout the transaction process, and coordinate the work performed by multiple service lines. Serve as the day-to-day point person on engagements; lead meetings and calls with clients and target management. Understand and manage firm risk on projects and proposals. Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services. Manage business development activities, such as proposals, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership material Work closely with managers and partners to promptly identify and resolve client problems or issues Communicate (verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients at all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives portraying knowledge and confidence Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, MIS or related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 7 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory audit review role at a large accounting firm. CPA, CVA, CFA, FRM, ASA or related valuation credentials Strong technical background in fair value reporting, including fair value review experience. Strong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous projects in a rapidly growing practice. Strong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring Ability to travel as (if) needed. Your CR Advantage:

$100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
