The Role The Core Platform Team in TuneIn provides the APIs that power all of TuneIn's own mobile and web applications as well as integrations with thousands of different types of devices manufactured by our device partners. The Platform serves tens of millions of users worldwide enjoying a wide range of audio content from Sport Events broadcasts, to music stations and Podcasts. As a Technical Leader joining the team you would be in charge of setting the course of our next iteration of architectural evolution as our business grows to reach even more users worldwide, across more types of devices, and provide them with new types of content. #LI-Remote #LI-DB1 What You'll Do Work with the team to define the next generation of the Architecture incorporating the latest requirements from the Clients and Partners along with the modern technological patterns and best practices Define and drive the Roadmap for the Platform's ongoing development Work together with the infrastructure team on the improvements of the Platform's release process towards achieving seamless Continuous Delivery Coordinate creation of the new automated quality process and work with SWEs and SETs on improving platform's test coverage Mentor and support Engineers' growth and foster a positive engineering culture Work closely with the counterparts from Client Engineering, Product and Partners on driving ongoing shared projects and broader initiatives within engineering and company overall Together with Infrastructure and Cloud Ops teams develop operational practices that promote developer productivity, cost efficiency, and security What We Are Looking For 7

years in software architecture, 3
years managing software teams BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Experience building distributed systems architectures serving 1M
users Deep knowledge of software design patterns and service-oriented architectures Experience designing software APIs and running ongoing support process of API clients Experience with modern Software CI/CD tools and processes Experience working productively with legacy systems and modernizing them with new technologies and best practices Exceptional communication skills and experience balancing competing priorities in a fair and transparent manner. Ability to navigate difficult conversations, both on your team and with stakeholders. Familiarity working with Agile Development Methodologies.
