Associate Director, Marketing

Overview Seeking a strategic consumer marketer to help grow our Medicaid and Medicare plans. Our health plan marketing team leverages the full suite of marketing tactics and thrives on the challenges of working in a regulated industry. Responsibilities Directs the day-to-day operations associated with the development and execution of consumer and professional marketing activities for VNSNY CHOICE Health Plans, as assigned. Works directly with the VNSNY CHOICE business/operations staff to create marketing strategies, develop marketing plans and implement marketing programs to support acquisition and retention business objectives. Maintains knowledge of company-wide marketing strategies and initiatives and integrates that understanding into the strategic planning and work done on behalf of business unit. Manages relationships with outside vendors, including the advertising agency, direct marketing agency, digital marketing agency, market research firm, and other marketing consultants. Manages the relationship between Marketing and various business units within VNSNY CHOICE, i.e. Market Development and Community Outreach, as well as within the Marketing department, i.e., in-house digital marketing and public relations. Works under general direction. Participates in the development of annual marketing plan, including B2B and B2C marketing strategies, programs and tactics, specific to VNSNY CHOICE brand, business unit's objectives, and individual plan acquisition/retention goals. Builds fully detailed project plans on each marketing activity, including objective, goal, strategy, tactics and measurement to evaluate effectiveness. Designs and implements marketing plans for individual CHOICE health plans, as required, including specific channels and/or accounts (e.g., IPAs). Oversees, as required, the development and distribution of brand advertising and direct response activity, including print, online, television, direct mail and associated telemarketing efforts, outdoor signage, collateral materials (brochures, fliers, posters, etc.),, and Web site development/updates. Provides direction for creative copy and design associated with all aspects of each marketing campaign. Writes/edits copy, as required. Manages and tracks production and inventory of marketing collateral, as required. Works to maintain and continually improve the organization's competitive position. Maintains up-to-date understanding of marketplace competition, including competitors' knowable sales and marketing activities. Monitors and tracks the effectiveness of all marketing activities. Follows trends and makes recommendations to management to adjust marketing strategies to meet changing markets and competitive conditions. Manages budget and monitors expenses against budget; assists Marketing leadership in the preparation of the annual budget. Manages relationships with outside vendors, including marketing consultants and agencies. Works with in-house resources across VNSNY to manage effective use of the Web and Web marketing as well as public relations. Works closely with VNSNY CHOICE Market Development and Community Outreach to define and develop marketing solutions for sales and other community based teams. Provides marketing advice and guidance to various organizational units to ensure overall marketing effectiveness. Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role. Participates in staff training, hirings, promotions, terminations and salary actions, as appropriate. Participates in special projects and performs other duties, as required.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in communication, marketing or business, required. MBA in Marketing preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of six years of experience in brand marketing, advertising, promotions or other relevant experience required. Management/supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability in developing and managing large, successful marketing communications campaigns, preferably in the health care markets, required. Proven interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills required. Knowledge of brand marketing, advertising, direct marketing and Web marketing strategies and techniques required. Previous experience in customer relationship management and/or call center management a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
