Overview Position Summary The Manager will serve as a League Medical Representative assisting in supporting all medical functions between the League Office and the Club medical staff. Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities The League Medical Representative role serves as the primary medical administrative and operational point of contact for assigned Clubs Communicate league policies and procedures with Club medical staff members including Athletic Trainers/Therapists, Club physicians, and other League Mandated Club positions as necessary. Utilize the League's credentialing service to review licensing, certification, and experience of League Mandated Club medical staff. Monitor and communicate compliance to MLS Policies and Procedures Manual, In-Market Manuals, and Health & Safety Alerts, department memos and other League policies. Assist in supporting the electronic medical record platforms, including reporting and content projects. Collaborate in the continued development of policies and procedures including the Medical Operations Manual, In-Market Manuals, and Health & Safety Alerts, department memos, as well as best practice development. Contribute to projects within the MLS medical department as requested. Communicate and collaborate with all MLS medical consultants. Ability to effectively communicate with various Club and League stakeholders beyond medical professionals (e.g., Chief Business Officers, Legal, Chief Soccer Officers, Events and Operations Staff). Provide Medical Sideline Review Spotter and or Supervisor coverage as necessary. Stay current with continuing education. Additional Responsibilities Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree in health-related field preferred) 5
years of experience in an administrative role or equivalent 3
years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer in a sports environment preferred. Required Skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance Research and data analysis experience Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in, collaborative and team-oriented environment Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience with medical records and medical documentation standards Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Desired Skills Experience caring for elite level athletes (collegiate, professional, Olympic) Knowledge and experience in emergency planning, concussion, cardiac issues and other medical injuries/illness in soccer or other contact/collision sport. Experience with Power BI and Smartsheets Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency) Knowledge of the sport of soccer and MLS Occasionally travel to work on-site for events that might be scheduled on weekends and holidays
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Medicine, Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
