Senior Manager, Sales Planning

The Senior Manager, Sales Planning will supervise 1-2 planning teams within the Strategic Planning and Delivery (SP&D). The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross disciplinary groups to develop bespoke client solutions while serving as a strategic resource in vertical specific product iteration. The Senior Manager will ensure his/her team is maintaining pricing integrity across proposals and throughout client negotiations. The senior managers will support the development and activation of ad products and tools based on business priorities identified by SP&D leadership. This position requires a deep understanding of digital sales planning, an unmatched commitment to team development, strong attention to detail, and an analytical approach to digital media. The senior managers will support the development and activation of ad products and tools based on business priorities identified by SP&D leadership. Responsibilities:
Manage and mentor a team of managers, planners and associate planners that are responsible for thoughtfully addressing the client's needs and objectives during the pre & post sale process Ensure team members are fully educated and fluent in Dow Jones' suite of products, offerings and solutions Develop and communicate a strong understanding of business best practices allowing the team to navigate pricing, packaging, and overall negotiations on a per plan basis. Partners with inventory and pricing team to develop vertical specific inventory package strategy. Responsible for working closely with sales on integrated print and digital pricing taking into account pricing trends and historical information to accurately price Dow Jones' complex products Support, train and provide feedback on existing standard operating procedures including order management, CRM, inventory management and billing QA and approve campaigns in order management system. Facilitate governance process for pricing approvals as required. Responsible for any new hire onboarding and training within the vertical team. Contribute to new hire best practices for larger planning & pricing organization. Expert in Dow Jones product offering and operational capabilities Responsible for ad hoc projects in support of business priorities as identified by SP&D leaders and MMS executives Responsible for project management of proprietary ad tech products and tools. Requirements:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
