Director, Product Design

As the Director of Product Design, you will manage and lead a team of UX/UI Designers during an exciting phase of growth at CLEAR as we build out our platform vision and expand our offerings across industries for both B2C and B2B experiences. You will be responsible for the definition, design
delivery of our UX/UI that delivers above and beyond our promise of creating trusted, secure and frictionless experiences for our members and business customers. We are seeking a seasoned Design Leader that can guide the evolution of our practice to elevate Design Quality from early-stage concepts and product strategy all the way to detailed design hand-offs and QA. In this role, you will help scale the capabilities, scope
influence of Design so that all of CLEAR product offerings
UI are infused with ingenuity and executed with the highest level of craft. You are adept at shaping complex user experiences, architecting solutions across a variety of touchpoints/channels
for a mix of users and scenarios within varying environments and/or constraints.
What You Will Do:
- Provide oversight of UX/UI across all phases of the Product Design process including:
concept explorations, user flows, visual design and prototyping - Define
operationalize best practices to improve end-to-end collaboration with partners throughout the product development lifecycle, and ensure that team has a high bar of craft and system thinking - Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources accordingly, so that Design is set up for success with the right capacity

- Partner with practice leads in UX Research
Industrial Design to shape and support a culture of trust where we all can challenge, inspire and encourage one another to proudly ship the best work of our careers.
Who You Are:
- 8
years of experience in digital Product Design (UX/UI) - 3
years experience managing, shaping
growing teams totaling no less than 5 individual contributors - Experience leading end-to-end Product Design from Discovery to Delivery across both mobile
web - Have a portfolio that showcases how you've enabled teams to produce exceptional design work that meets business objectives.
- Experience with early-stage exploration efforts as well as scaled execution approaches and Lean/Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with partners to shape product direction and influence strategic thinking, prioritization, and roadmaps
- Effective communicator that can lead/direct group conversations to drive alignment on actionable next steps
clear outcomes. - Strong proficiency with modern design/prototyping tools, eg Figma (or Sketch)
- Strong understanding of Experience Metrics

Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Design & UXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
