Lead Product Software Engineer
Basic Function This role will be the central position in delivering architecture and design of Services within the Global Platform Services team. These services will collectively help in the delivery of the next generation of the WK Research Platforms. The ideal candidate will be working with a team of enterprise architects, designers, scrum masters, release managers, and development teams including interactions with Vendor's dev teams, QE teams, Automation teams, Operations, Support and System Engineering teams. Essential Duties and responsibilities Design, Develop and Deliver New Capabilities and enhancement of services in the WK Ecosystem. Spearhead architectural concerns and discuss the project/ services needs and specifications with stakeholders Provide advice and recommendations and negotiate contracts / API Provide guidance and approval to architectures and designs provided by other architects and designers in the team Define, develop, and standardize architectural guidelines and specifications for the team. Responsible for expanding the WK Ecosystem of Services Lead a team of designers and developers to architect, design, develop and deploy highly scalable, performant and highly available services. Present the designs and architecture of Global Platform Services at various internal forums. Communicate and collaborate with various teams such as other services teams, product teams, operations teams and QE and Support teams Layout and own the new content specification for Wolters Kluwer content. This content generation to be consumed and processed with content management service teams and content delivery chains for exposure in the next generation of WK products across different business units Job
Qualifications Education:
Required a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in a related field or having a relevant experience
Experience:
At least 8
years of working with highly efficient teams of developers, designers, and architects At least 4
years in Architecture and development, delivery of enterprise applications Experience in working in an Agile environment Preferable to have experience in cloud technology like AWS, Azure, Graph databases Knowledge of XML, XHTML content structures and content processing Travel requirements Moderate Travel could be required for offsite meetings with other teams for design, architecture and or meeting with business within the US or to Europe. Physical Demands NA
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
