Amazon Just Walk Out delivers solutions to simplify and improve the grocery shopping experience, by enabling shoppers to simply enter a store, grab what they want, and just go.
Just Walk Out uses a combination of technologies to eliminate checkout lines and bring fast and convenient checkout experiences to shoppers in Amazon Fresh Stores.
The ideal candidate is customer focused, a natural problem solver and a great communicator, both in verbal and written form.
You have a consistent track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines while making high-judgement, data-driven trade-offs and prioritization decisions in an ambiguous environment.
This role requires a high level of ownership over development of design guidance for the integration of technology.
You are accountable but also know how to see around the corners and ask for help in resolving issues and problems as necessary.
This position can be based in Arlington, VA, Nashville, TN, Austin, TX, Los Angeles, CA or Seattle, WA.
Key job responsibilities Analyze technical requirements, identifying gaps and providing feedback on technology components that are intended for installation in physical space Coordinate construction feedback to drive design and technology improvements Engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to produce of guideline, details and evolve the prototypical drawing set Act as a translator of information between Technology, Store Design, Construction and Change Management teams around requirements for implementation Crafting comprehensive documents for cross functional alignment to convey design requirements Manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously Utilize data and metrics to drive alignment and improvements Build consensus across stakeholders and propose trade-off decisions for various competing priorities Review shop drawings, specifications and cut sheets to present recommendations A day in the lifeAs a Sr.
JWO Integration Manager on the Design Standards team, you will be responsible for working with business teams across the company to gather requirements for technical components and processes related to the Just Walk Out technology.
You must understand the building and construction industry and be able to translate requirements back into A/E/C industry documentation.
This position involves regular communication with internal design partners and change management teams on status, risks and missing information.
You will be responsible for gathering inputs from multiple sources, analyzing how it affects the Amazon Fresh Store Development team and conveying outcomes.
Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
