Technical Project Manager - Security / Infrastructure


Summary:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing two enterprise level projects focused on the IT Security and Physical Security. One project is to upgrade Identity Management System/Application and the second project is the installation of security cameras domestically and internationally for end of service cameras currently in place. Responsibilities:
Define, develop, document and obtain approvals regarding the project plan for all components for the successful implementation of these two enterprise projects. Develop a working knowledge of assigned business focus, strategy, and key priorities. Responsible for managing the overall performance and delivery of large/cross-functional programs/projects; including scope, schedule, risks, issues, and budget. Provide program governance with clear and consistent communication of program level and project level status throughout the organization at all levels. Ensure that issues and risks are identified, communicated to project sponsors and stakeholders early and proactively managed in a manner that mitigates risk to scope, cost, and schedule. Communication skills are essential as the PM will need to interact daily with stakeholders and communicate schedules, changes, project tasks, etc. Direct management of project team and management of schedules, documentation, actively engage during deployments of each site Planning, managing, scheduling, including being involved from pre-planning phase to design, and implementation phase. Manage integrator directly, working directly with local site contacts for vendor, as well as stakeholder location site leads and teams. Adhere to Project roadmap created specifically by region, analyze risk, prepare documentation, track progress, and provide updates to stakeholders. Manage the prioritization, resource allocations, and budgeting for projects. Ensure project stays within budget. Strictly adhere to the client's Project Management Methodology and reporting requirements, including project plans, agendas, meeting minutes, risks/issues logs, status reporting, and any other required project deliverables. Partners with engagement team to ensure successful delivery against business expectations and requirements. Manage interdependencies and effective communication channels between all existing projects, key initiatives, and stakeholders. Collaborate and communicate to ensure the on-going alignment of priorities, expectations, resource availability and service delivery. Develop, document and manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, budget management and monthly executive reporting. Manage other vendors assigned to this program to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and as expected. Create a communication and supporting communication to inform stakeholders and leadership on status, processes, issues, risk mitigation strategies, etc.
Qualifications:
B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field (or equivalent work experience). 7
years' work experience in Program and Project Management and demonstrated leading medium to large programs. Strong Project Management skill set; PMP Certified or Scrum Master. Requires knowledge of Integration/SDLC experience involved in upgrading each site to custom (if required) software package deliveries. Deep understanding of Identity Management System as well as other Physical Security Applications used by the client. Ability to coordinates security system design specifications and change management between internal teams and external vendors. Ensures compliance of security Policies, practices, and standards. Supports security system equipment commissioning Ability to work with Tech leads to complete the final Test and Acceptance of security systems. Training is already established, and the TPM needs to coordinate the efforts required. Communication skills are essential as the TPM will need to interact daily with stakeholders and communicate schedules, changes, project tasks, etc. Direct management of project team and management of schedules, documentation, actively engage during deployments of each site. TPM needs to be hands-on with System/Application that is being upgraded, as this role will be involved in the overall training and usage of the system with the stakeholders. Communication/Self-Starter/Initiative taker/multi-tasking. Planning, managing, scheduling, including being involved from pre-planning phase to design, and implementation phase. Manage integrator directly, working directly with local site contacts for vendor, as well as stakeholder location site leads and teams. Adhere to Project roadmap created specifically by region, analyze risk, prepare documentation, track progress, and provide updates to stakeholders. Ensure project stays within budget. Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, across functions including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Excellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences. Proven ability to manage global teams with diverse backgrounds, business objectives, and time zones constraints. Ability to effectively prioritize critical path activities to ensure on-time delivery.
