Insurance defense law firm in New York City/Midtown seeks an HR Generalist to join their team.
The right candidate will have previous HR experience, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
Onboard new hires Create and maintain new hire binders Maintain employee files Communicate directly with attorneys and staff in office as well as via telephone and e-mail Assist with benefit enrollments Track and update employee leaves of absence Manage new hires, terminations, etc.
in ADP Workforce Now Process all time off requests to include sick, personal and vacation Handle any general HR inquiries from employees Assist with full cycle recruiting to include creating/submitting job postings online, scheduling candidate interviews Verify Timecards and run Batch for Payroll Run reports in ADP Workforce Now Required Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to maintain confidentiality Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail Able to work effectively with minimal supervision Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills Understanding of ADP Workforce Now Understanding of employee benefits HR experience a must MS Word and Excel a must Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Communication Confidentiality Coordinating Employee Benefits Hardworking And Dedicated Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
