Are you familiar with Family Office clients in America, their particular needs and associated risks? We are looking for a Business Risk Manager who can:
oproactively support the regional GFIW-Americas (GFIW-A) Chief Operating Officer and GFIW-A Global Business Risk Management Head in risk management tasks, including maintenance and production of internal collateral (data, documents, presentations) to enable the business to run smoothly and be appropriately governed and controlled oproactively design and implement, or simplify, processes, controls and tasks, to enhance our front-to-back processes and risk framework(s), improve efficiency and strengthen our platform, as tailored to our businessocollaborate globally with colleagues in other internal functions and divisions including control functions (compliance, credit, legal, finance), product teams, investment banking, and interact closely with subject matter experts of various business, strategy, risk and control functions and topics in order to solve problems and enable business successodesign and deliver on relevant key projects for GFIW-A senior management, to help drive growth (and, sometimes remediation) of a business with a high growth potential, while also incorporating a vision for best practiceoprovide transparent reporting to management, regulators, auditors and other internal unitsoidentify, evaluate and mitigate risks, proactively formulating holistic solutionsoprovide expert advice and feedback on supervisory issuesJoin usAt UBS, we embrace flexible ways of working when the role permits.

Your teamYou'll be working in New York reporting directly to the GFIW-A Chief Operating Officer, as part of the Global GFIW-A Business Risk Management team in the strategically important and growing GFIW-A business, which is a collaboration business between Wealth Management and the Investment Bank.
The GFIW-A Business Risk Management team works independently of, but directly for senior management, to organize and maintain risk processes to ensure seamless governance, but also to identify, assess and manage non-standard risks, embedded in the GFIW-A business.
We also provide an industry leading Supervisory and Operations Risk framework support to the Investment Bank Front Office.
This benefits our trading and sales staff as well as IB management.
As a Business Risk Manager you'll play an important role in driving forward the development of the Supervisory framework.
Your expertiseodegree or professional education equivalent focusing on project and/or risk managementoideally 3-6 years of experience with general risk management, including control frameworks and supervisionoreliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issuesoadaptable to changing market situations, technology and business needsAbout usUBS is the world's largest and only truly global wealth manager.

The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $140,000 based on experience, education, and skill level.
This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
