Executive Director, Structurer

Your roleAre you an innovative thinker? Are you focused on the details, even when under pressure? Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions? We're looking for an Executive Director, Structurer to:
oDevelop and discuss innovative investment solutions with chief investment officers, portfolio managers, senior traders and management staff employed by our most prominent clients as well as presenting the solutions and business opportunities internally to UBS senior management and control functions.
oResponsible for structuring and arranging innovative structured products and solutions to clients across one or more asset classes.
oPerform development and modeling of structured financial products and growing structured investment across a broad range of asset classes.
oEvaluate new client opportunities and assess existing investment to structure and arrange innovative structured products/solutions, often with a high level of complexity.
oPrepare and present proposals to both management and clients on complex structures that balance risk and reward.
oSupport and interact with clients on a deal-by-deal basis.
oContribute to the development of risk measurement and testing models, evaluating both in-house models and external models (from rating agencies or market standards).
oUtilize strong analytical and quantitative skills in order to perform the risk/reward analysis of potential structured investments on a case-by-case basis.
oAdhere to all applicable regulations and internal policies including relevant compliance policies.
oFollow, adhere to, and promote the UBS principles and behaviors acting with integrity, due skill, care and diligence at all times.
oEnsure escalation and disclosure of any information of which applicable regulators would reasonably expect notice.
oObserve proper standards of market conduct including paying due regard to interests of customers and treating them fairly where relevant.

Your expertiseEducation & Experience RequirementoThis position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or 8 years as a Market Risk Officer or Manager, or related occupation.
Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)oThe employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or 6 years as a Market Risk Officer or Manager, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent plus 8 years of experience.
Must have five years of experience in each of the following:
oCreation or evaluation of structured products/solutions including analysis around products/solutions within risk, regulatory, and legal parameters; oQuantitative analysis for financial modelling, transaction execution, product and platform development and investment strategies development; oForeign exchange, rates, credit derivatives; and oOngoing monitoring and reporting around the performance and structured products/solutions.
Must have experience in each of the following:
oCoding and ability to model complex financial problems.
Position requires FINRA Series 24 license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date).

Salary informationCA, CO, WA and NY based roles:
The salary range for this role is $275,000-$312,250 based on experience, education, and skill level.
This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
