Develop, maintain and improve a Demand Plan for a portfolio of products and customers.
Ensure the alignment of this Demand Plan with internal and external partners through the Monthly Business Planning and Collaborative Planning processes.
Identify and manage exceptions, and monitor performance in order to continually improve the quality and reliability of the Demand Plan and the Company's ability to sense and respond to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities:
Collect Information and Assumptions:
Collect information and assumptions about promotional activities, product launches & phase outs, customer/distribution changes, business trends, production constraints, regional demand, etc.
These inputs are key to and form a reliable demand plan.
Manage Portfolio Lifecycle:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to manage portfolio lifecycle, such as new product launches, packaging changes, phase-in/phase-out, and product discontinuation.
Ensure that demand is appropriately forecasted and maintained in all circumstances.
Ensure that Demand plans incorporate all business strategies and nuances.
Generate and Maintain the Forecast:
Demand planner has sufficient knowledge to be able to generate, maintain, and update a statistical forecast.
Combining sales expectations, as well as incremental impactors and business nuances, the Demand Planner is responsible for finalizing the total volume forecast for submission to HQ.
Drive consensus through Monthly Business Planning processes:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive effective MBP processes to reach consensus demand plan.
This becomes a primary input to the Dynamic Forecast.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Able to do various ad-hoc reporting.
Explore and experiment new ways of utilizing data and statistical methods to enhance the quality of demand forecast and generate high value business insights within and beyond DSP.
Develop and maintain reports to track and monitor the statistical forecasts, alerts for corrections/improvements and other analytical insights.
Education:
Bachelors degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering.
Experience:
5
years of Professional experience in Supply Chain required.
2 years required with experience at planner level or comparable experience.
Advance Excel, required; Cognos or SQL experience Inventory management & Forecasting experience required Strong analytical and statistical skills Experience working in a retail/manufacturing environment preferred Excellent written and verbal communication Highly influential and organized Highly collaborative The approximate pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000.
Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
