Front Office (Technology) Business Analyst

Our direct client, a global hedge fund, is seeking to add a highly motivated and experienced technology specialist for a Front Office Business Analyst position in their London office.
This is a newly created position requiring 3 days in the office and reports directly to the CTO.
In this role, the business analyst will work closely with the firm's investment professionals (Portfolio Managers, Risk Management and Economic Research) and developer teams to ensure delivery of a best-in-class software experience.
Focus is on Risk and Analytics systems, as well as some Order management.
Responsibilities:
oIdentify, document, and communicate business and functional requirements for enhancements and new features oSupport development and work closely with cross-functional technical teams to define, develop and test capabilities oMaintain proficiency in all functionalities of the front office systems to be able to quickly diagnose issues and provide guidance and support to users oAssist with the prioritization of front office technical initiatives oPerform testing and validation of new features and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements and do not introduce new risks.
oProvide training and support to end-users, including the creation of training materials and documentation oCollect user feedback and analyze feature utilization to identify areas for improvement and guide future product development efforts.
oConduct ongoing market research to identify trends and help inform product strategy Required
Qualifications:
o5+years of front office business analyst experience, preferably at a hedge fundoStrong understanding of financial markets and products oExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both a technical and non-technical audience If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
