The Sr/Director of Talent Solutions manages and coordinates organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and talent management programs are developed and managed using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic initiatives.
This includes collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.
g.
, succession planning).
Overseeing the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including annual performance conversations, calibrations and standards, and performance evaluation instruments
Essential Functions:
This position will partner with HR Business Partners, leaders within Human Resources and other stakeholders to focus on building strong talent solutions for the organization.
The group is responsible for driving talent management, performance management strategies, tools, consulting services, and processes in the following technical areas:
Performance and Talent Management Assessments and multi-rater feedback Team effectiveness Organization effectiveness HiPo/Key Talent pipeline Employee engagement Succession planning Major areas of accountability include the following:
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of leadership development disciplines, including performance management, succession planning, talent planning, assessments, and competency development.
Independently design moderately complex talent management and performance management solutions / systems leveraging knowledge of required supporting structure(s).
Analyze and make recommendations regarding supporting technology solutions.
Make recommendations regarding the use of appropriate tools for various assessment situations.
Use talent review information and data from multiple businesses to determine individual and organization development needs.
Design and execute executive development strategies.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills in the management of large-scale talent management, performance management and leadership development projects.
As project leader, responsible for effective planning, timely delivery, efficient project management, development of assigned consultants, and stakeholder management.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a combination of skills and experience in performance management, talent management, organization performance diagnosis, HiPo development, succession planning, culture change, external research and benchmarking, group dynamics, group process facilitation, communication planning, survey/ assessment design, and a strong proficiency analyzing data to gain insight into business performance.
Masters Degree or higher in Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or related field required.
At least 9 years of progressive responsibility in the field of talent management and performance management are required.
Must have a track record of achievement in designing and implementing talent management and performance management initiatives in a corporate environment.
Experience implementing solutions in a complex environment required.
Experience effectively interacting with and influencing senior level HR and business/function leaders required.

The salary/hourly range is $148,580 - $192,560 for a Dir Talent Solutions and $168,410 - $218,260 for a Sr Dir Talent Solutions.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
Depending on an employee's assigned worksite or location, Amtrak may consider a geo-pay differential to be applied to the employee's base salary.
