Accounting Clerk - Fiscal Residential Liaison

The salary range for this position is $55k-$60k annuallyRESPONSIBILITIES Verify the timely distribution of Personal Allowance funds.
Post all cash expenses incurred with the individual's funds in FEZ.
Verify the presence of receipts for purchases made with individual's funds.
Post related cash benefits, (Personal and Clothing allowance, Social Security benefits, other).
Verify accuracy of entries made by house staff to the individual's General Ledger.
Prepare bank reconciliation on all bank accounts held for the benefit of individuals living in the residence.
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries to record monthly bank fees and other charges.
Prepare and process individuals Representative Payee reports as needed.
Monitor daily cash balances related to the individuals bank accounts.
Monitor daily cash balances related to the debit card account used by the residence.
Analyze GL income and expense accounts seeking out of the ordinary transactions.
Generate cash requirement report to replenish In-House Cash account.
Conduct un-announced audit in coordination with the QA Department.
Conduct a verification of purchases as part of the audit process.
Prepare audit report stating findings and recommendations.
Oversee the day to day AR process.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 3-5 years experience in the field.
Computer knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Fund EZ and Salesforce.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
