27 an hour 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago Duties Description Under the supervision of the Revenue Supervisor, the Park Recreation Aide 5:
Registers patrons for different classes in park programs, and processes payments for all activity and reservations for picnic areas, skating, and permits.
Processes cash transactions, credit card transactions and money orders.
Must handle and account for cash in the drawer and check for counterfeit bills.
Makes copies and types posting notes to inform patrons of any events or charges.
Interacts with patrons to resolve questions, distribute information, and provide excellent customer service.
Distributes mail, and assists head cashiers as needed with the carousel, wristbands, and the collection of money at atletic and cultural events.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Comments OPERATING NEEDS:
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Must possess good customer service skills.
Candidates may be asked to report to different parks around the NYC region as needed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
