To play a leadership role in developing systems and methods in Quality and its interfaces with other client business departments and Customers.
Ensure that the company's Quality Policy and procedures are implemented and that the requirements of AS 9100 and other applicable industry standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
To improve the quality and manufacturing processes so that our clients so that output is increased To play a leadership role in developing systems and methods in Quality and its interfaces with other client business departments and Customers To ensure that the company's Quality Policy and procedures are implemented and that the requirements of AS 9100 and other applicable industry standards are maintained Develop & approve inspection methods (plans) to inspect Parts & analyze product quality Review & analyze QSys compliance to Customer PO quality-related flow downs Improve product quality by making recommendations for change Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products Be team leader for company Zero Defects Program implementation Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems Proactively recommend solutions to inspection tasks to improve our ability to meet customer requirements & provide technical support (i.

GDT's & use of CMM) Document results and findings following Internal Quality Audits and/or inspections Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy 2.

0 DUTIES Developing and maintaining company AS9102 FAI's and Final inspection plans Inspecting products according to quality requirements Ensuring monitoring and measuring equipment is calibrated and working correctly Managing Rejections, RMA's and associated AR's Reporting quality anomalies to management Collating test data and drafting quality reports Customer Interface for coordination of QN's, CAR'S etc Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes Ensuring production is not hindered by quality throughput Lead efforts to evaluate & develop techniques for the control of quality, improve efficiencies & reliability Works with personnel at all levels to solve routine and special issues Participate in the implementation of the documentation control process Report to Executive Management on quality systems operation Participate in final acceptance testing and release for shipments of all product Participate in the auditing and setting of metrics for the company Participate in the Material Review Board and Corrective Action Board process Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5
years in a manufacturing environment Six Sigma Green Belt Experience in a quality assurance environment required Experience generating documentation for Advanced Planning Quality Programs (APQP) such as PFMEA's, MPR's etc Proficiency in computer technology and Coordinate Measuring Systems operation Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Vision and Charting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work well under pressure and pays close attention to details Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task Potential to advance to a managerial position Hauppauge, NY:
