Located in the heart of the community of Washington Heights in Northern Manhattan is a 705-bed rehabilitation and nursing care facility with a mission to provide quality care through diverse programs and services designed to support health and independence to individuals needing short-stay or long term inpatient care.
Through evidenced-based practice, work with residents in order to improve/maintain quality of life, with respect for individuality and to ensure the highest level of independent functioning.
As change agents, social workers ensure the dissemination of information to all stakeholders regarding continuum of care services.
Masters degree in Social Work LMSW preferred At least one year experience in geriatric/medical setting One to two years and/or student placement with the population to be served Evidence of excellent written and spoken English Recommended Skills Inpatient Care Nursing Self Motivation Social Work English Licensed Master Social Worker Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
