Summary:
ThePierre Hotel- New York is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Overnight House Attendant.
As an integral part of our housekeeping department, the Overnight House Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas during the night shift.
This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cleaning and Maintenance Conduct thorough cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and other designated spaces.
Ensure all public spaces are well-maintained and free of debris or hazards.
Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
Room Set-up Arrange furniture and set up meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
Assist with special room configurations or setups for VIP guests.
Supply Management Restock and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Report any maintenance or supply needs to the appropriate department.
Communication Effectively communicate with the housekeeping team and other hotel staff to ensure a seamless transition between shifts.
Report any issues or incidents to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
Compliance Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
Follow established protocols for handling lost and found items.
Team Collaboration Collaborate with other overnight staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
Assist other departments as needed during the night shift.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a an Overnight House Attendant; luxury hotel experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during the overnight hours.
Ability to perform all job functions including lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of safety and security protocols.
