Vice President Senior Sanctions ManagerNew York, NY As a Barclays Vice President Senior Sanctions Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the overall management of sanctions risk for the aligned business by providing guidance and input to the Business and ensuring internal standards and risk appetite are met.
In this exciting role, you will need to effectively manage several stakeholders at varying levels, and you will report to the Americas Head of Sanctions and & ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption) and be part of the wider ABC and Sanctions team within the Americas region.
Salary/ Rate Minimum:
$145,000Salary/ Rate Maximum:
$192,000 The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate.

What will you be doing? o Providing timely and balanced advise on United States, United Kingdom, and European Union sanctions requirements and Barclays Financial Crime Policyo Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the law and practice of those jurisdictions' sanctions regimes, as well as financial industry implementation practiceso Taking a lead role in United States regulatory requirements pertaining to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control)-compliance including U.
S.
examinationso Supporting OFAC-related fillings, including voluntary self-disclosures, as well as blocks and rejectso Maintaining a detailed knowledge of the sanctions control framework and drives effective oversight over it by a variety of meanso Managing and supporting sanctions-related audit and assurance reviews and drive timely remediation of issueso Taking a leading role in global sanctions projects, including investigations and enhancements to systems, processes, and procedureso Reviewing and maintaining training and awareness programs for stakeholders What we're looking for:
o Five plus years of experience working with OFAC, HMT, EU, UN, and other jurisdictional sanctions laws, regulators, regulatory expectations, and industry best practiceso Three plus years working at a large complex institution with global sanctions, policies, law firms, or U.
S.
government agencyo Three plus years' experience in designing and implementing financial crime, policies, and procedureso Two plus years demonstrating good leadership and operational management skills Skills that will help you in the role:
o Prior experience working in the financial industry that provided exposure to banking and securities operations, so that the individual can contribute and support decision-makingo Prior experience conducting and managing risk assessmentso Knowledge of sanctions screening and program oversighto Experience working with a highly regulated environment along with a good grasp of the current environment and key issue within financial services Where will you be working? You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue.
