Sr. PR Manager, Workplace Operations
Amazon is seeking a seasoned, strategic, and analytical communications professional with a proven track record of coordinating high-impact communications programs for large, fast-moving, global organizations.
This individual will create, gain alignment and help execute on strategies that support our reputation as a Good Employer.
This role will include developing an overarching strategy and narrative, building third-party advocacy and partnerships, coordinating research and message testing, and establishing workflow process and mechanisms to increase knowledge sharing.
They will keep a finger on the pulse of the evolving media landscape and industry trends, producing regular reporting and turning observations and data into actionable insights for PR teams.
To be successful in this role, the right candidate will work effectively in a matrixed, global organization and quickly builds effective working relationships.
This individual will be used to working at scale in a fast-paced environment, with extensive communications experience implementing earned communications strategies while also understanding the importance of how owned and paid can enhance these activities.
They will be experienced in handling sensitive issues, acting fast with high judgment, providing counsel to senior leaders, and staying calm in situations that (to others) appear stressful.
They will lead from the front, and will be happy to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
Key job responsibilities- Drive cross-functional planning, strategy and message development.
- Develop mechanisms to optimize information sharing and best practices.
- Partner with team leads to define success metrics for each strategy; establish mechanisms to use results data to inform strategies.
- Collaborate with research teams across Amazon to conduct regular research/focus groups to ensure we are moving the needle with our key audiences.
- Monitor and analyze news cycles, social media, and industry trends providing actionable insights to share with broader team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
