Operations Lead (hedge fund)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Oversight of all front-to-back functions in support of the firm's trading desk including, confirmations, controls, investigations, position-keeping, reconciliations, settlements, trade capture; Oversight of tactical and strategic project management agenda across Operations with a focus on driving transformation, improving controls and efficiencies; Continuously monitor, review and, where appropriate, upgrade operational policies and procedures; Management and development of a small team; Manage internal relationships across Compliance, Finance, Legal, Risk, Technology, Trading and Treasury; Point of contact with third parties, ie:
Auditor, Counterparties, Fund Administrator, Prime Broker etc; The successful candidate will possess the following:

years' relevant middle office/operations/trading support experience in asset manager, bank, hedge fund or trading firm; Asset class knowledge spanning Credit and Credit Derivatives products required.
Additional experience with Equities a plus; Advanced Excel/VBA required; Additional knowledge of Bloomberg and Intex; Ability to work to deadlines and to operate effectively in a collaborative team environment; Experience with project management, especially as it relates to automating process and workflow; Outstanding presentation and communication skills (written/verbal); Team management / supervisory experience preferred; Minimum, Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, math or similar; Professional certification, ie:
CFA, preferred; Base salary $250,000-$300,000
annual discretionary bonus.
