Weekends Job Description This class of positions encompasses clerical related office activities utilizing manual and automated office systems; duties may include supervision of employees performing routine tasks appropriate to each Assignment Level.
There are three Assignment Levels within this class of positions.
The following are typical assignments within this class of positions.
All personnel perform related work.
Assignment Level IV Under supervision, with latitude for independent judgment, performs one or more of the following:
Duties & Responsibilities 1.
Supervises personnel performing data processing functions in the areas of data entry, data control/coding, production control.

Under the direction of the unit head, assists in supervising personnel performing responsible clerical and related activities by processing, recording, financial counseling, checking, and maintaining records, furnishing information, and preparing reports.
Assignment Level Iva (In New York City Health
Hospitals only) Under supervision, in addition to performing the duties of the lower Assignment Levels at a higher level, also performs one or more of the following:
1.
Supervises the activities of a section where clerical support staff are performing routine and responsible clerical tasks in a line operation area.
Supervisory activities include, but are not limited to, assigning work, scheduling clerical support staff hours, reviewing work of subordinates and ensuring imposed deadlines are met.
2.
Resolves difficult work flow problems associated with manual or automated clerical support systems, often in non-standard situations, by adjusting work procedures and methods.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and 2.
Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
