Owned Storytelling Manager, Amazon AI

We are seeking a high-judgment communications professional to join our team.
As Owned Storytelling Manager for Amazon AI, you'll work across Amazon communications - including Devices & Services, Prime Video, Stores, and more - to ideate, assign, edit, and produce content for external audiences on AboutAmazon.
com and internal employee audiences on A to Z News.
The candidate will bring fresh, innovative content ideas and solutions as well as executional excellence and experience building content programs and distribution strategies, have experience working to high standards under tight deadlines, and be flexible in managing ambiguity as priorities change.

You are someone who feels comfortable diving deep, you are highly inquisitive, and motivated by a dynamic, creative culture where redefining best practices is both welcome and encouraged.
You will also have a deep understanding of generative AI topics and trends, possess excellent writing skills, and be adept at translating complex technology concepts into broadly digestible stories.
Although this will be an individual contributor role, you will partner closely with PR counterparts and other stakeholders to understand the unique objectives, audiences, and messages for each piece of content and use those inputs to develop content strategies and expand the reach of these stories.
The successful candidate will have experience managing a team of writers and/or freelancers; a proven track record of developing and delivering compelling stories and campaigns with measurable results; and a strong understanding of SEO and the current digital content landscape.
Key job responsibilitiesStrategy:
Work with About Amazon's editor in chief and senior editor, A to Z News editors, as well as Amazon's cross-company AI communications team, to develop and implement the owned and internal channel content strategy for AI in line with our reputation and business goals.
Story Development:
Manage a team of freelance writers and oversee owned content development for our AI communications campaign, tied to key news moments and evergreen storytelling.
Partnership:
Act as an AI content thought partner to PR teams, providing counsel and guidance throughout all stages of content planning, execution, and analysis.
Activation:
Build out and maintain the owned and internal content calendar for AI, and ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of assets and content outputs for AboutAmazon.
com for external audiences, and A to Z News for our employees.
Measurement & Evaluation:
Working with channel owners, set content goals, and implement cohesive measurement plans to understand program success.
Make real-time program adjustments based on results.
About the teamThis role is part of the cross-company AI Communications team within Amazon's Global Communications and Community Impact team.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
