Systems Development Engineer II, Tech Deploy Modeling

but now also includes modeling, data analysis, and project management optimization in how we deploy technology into our fulfillment centers (FCs).
The Technology Deployment Modeling (TDM) team within the World-Wide Robotics organization uses modeling and analysis to technically advise and lead innovative solutions that drive improvements in planning accuracy and execution of robotic technology deployment.
Our solutions enable wider selection, faster delivery, and better price while minimizing risk to our customers.
We are seeking an innovative and solutions-oriented Systems Development Engineer to contribute in delivering transformational innovation to the business by creating scalable tools, providing analysis, and improving overall deployment execution.
This position is a unique opportunity to become involved in strategic planning on a massive scale, with high impact right from the start.

Key job responsibilitieso You deliver modeling and analysis which improve engineering and operational processes enabling efficient, large-scale, global deployment of material handling and robotics systemso Complete projects that elevate performance, quality, and delivery of new automation systems, and leverage operational data to deliver results for an extensive project portfolioo Develop simulation scenarios by learning and translating Amazon deployment and commissioning practices into an appropriate format for modelingo Synthesize output metrics to generate reports and polished presentations, highlighting findings and change recommendationso Validate models using project data, site visits, and correspondence across deployment teams to ensure model has sufficient detail to enable accurate quantitative evaluation of performanceA day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits for you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children.
